Spa Bad Aibling – the unique way to find heatlh and well-being

The Alpine foothills are a placid and lovely area in our homeland. Where lush meadows, peaceful forests and green mountains create a touch of charm, lies Bad Aibling, once a traditional mud bath resort, which helped it become synonymous with  “health and healing”. Even though the “black gold” is still used for preventative and therapeutic purposes, time has not ignored this important municipality south of the metropolis Munich. Spas aiming to offer wellness and more, which are sprouting from the ground everywhere, are a trend in this day and age. Bavaria's newest facility, which can certainly distinguish itself from the others, was developed in this fashion. Here Behnisch Architects focused once again on the classic ancient Roman bath culture. Their aim was to distance themselves from the huge indoor swimming pools, which have scared away many a guest seeking peace and quiet with their noisiness. And that was surely a smart and future-oriented decision. Fritz Walter Keilhauer, who moved from Bavarian Palatinate to Upper Bavaria, heads this oasis of hydrotherapy with great care and dedication. “Sine aqua non est vita”, goes the saying of our Roman ancestors, which means that there is no life without water. Bad Aibling chose an architecturally interesting domed complex, where the individual cabinets (as they are called here) determine which treatment is received. Keilhauer, the very charming manager prioritizes quiet and serenity in the spa. The spring flows from nearly 2300 metres underground and contains elements such as sodium, sulphur, fluorine and iodine. It's a special experience to explore the various methods of healing under the domed roofs. The renowned German philosopher Schopenhauer once said that “Health is not everything, but without heatlth everything is nothing”. This saying is more relevant now than ever. The unprecedented Spa Bad Aibling is undoubtedly one of the newest attractions in Germany. One recommendation, for example: a visit to the spa with accommodations at the “Romantik Hotel Lindner” is worth the journey. But many other lovely possibilities are also feasible. It would be senseless to list all the various combinations to organize a visit. As a medical specialist in naturopathic treatment and an expert in wellness, I can only recommend you pay this establishment a visit yourself – it's always worth it. An old saying says: “Happy memories are a precious treasure, which no one can take from us.” This also applies to the Spa Bad Aibling. test
